Understanding The Problem

Through a brainstorming workshop, it appeared that the traditional concern of "seeing the actual product before buying" is no longer the primary concern for individuals.

1. Individuals inclined to online shopping but didn't know where to order

2. Individuals worried of not being home to receive fresh meats

3. Tedious ordering and payment flow

Product Mission

From these findings, we decided as a product to identify key business goals:

1. Users can easily share order details with friends and families

2. Simplify ordering and payment flow with minimum steps

3. Provide feature to re-order

4. User can add delivery date & time to their calendar with just a click

Usability Study: Findings

I conducted two rounds of usability studies. First study helped me to shape the wireframes and mockups. The second study helped me to identify how to improve and refine the app.

Round 1

1. Users want to have a confirmation page before being charged.

2. Users want to have clear indication for navigation icons.

3. Users need a better title to differentiate default and delivery address.

Round 2

1. Need to differentiate navigations/ flow clearly.

2. Categorise products clearly.

Possible Next Steps

I have learned that always remember the core value when designing an app, users should be the center of all design thinkings. Peer feedback is very important to improve user flow and eventually bring success to a product.

1. Conduct more usability studies to identify more pain points from different users.

2. Improve the product to be fully accessible for users with special needs.
